in spirit of the fast approaching valentine’s day holiday and in contest to the ubiquitous “chivalry is dead” debate, comes a beautiful post by scott schuman, aka the sartorialist. not only does it come complete with a ‘30 rock’ reference, but he demonstrates so eloquently that grace, humility and chivalry does indeed still exist. read the entire post here, and a choice quote from the entry (from when schuman references ‘30 rock’):
