short stories: yea or nay?

in looking back through some digital and analog archives i uncovered a small mass of writings i’ve done throughout the years; normally i’m hesitant to share these for a variety of reasons, but i’m thinking it might be good practice to post both these and new writings (to get back into the habit of writing at least weekly) to share with my readers.  but, i’m still not entirely convinced.  so, sound out here, readers: yea or nay on postings of old and/or new short stories?

which is worse: having nothing left to give or having everything to give but no one to give it to?
