on my mission to re-buy the presents that my dog had eaten, chewed up, and threw up between last night and today, i picked up this darling coat above. though it looks very simple just on the model form, it’s amazing when actually put on. the wool is the softest, most felted black wool (with a gorgeous floral print silk lining), and it renders one a sculpture when clothed. there are no buttons, no ties, no knick knacks anywhere, just smooth, soft, continuous lines throughout; it has the most gorgeous cut in the sleeves as well as how it drapes in front. j’adore this coat, so much so that there’s an entire blog post now about it. now, if only la could only keep up with my coat obsession…
