the lovely Mollie Johanson of Wild Olive is putting together her first Stitch Swap for any embroiderers out there – you can read the details on her blog here, and sign up to participate here.  i've never embroidered much in the past but since making chris a hoop for valentine's day i've really come to enjoy embroidering.  it's quick, fairly easy to start/learn, and the possibilities really are endless.  plus, how awesome is it to embroider while watching lavinia embroider during the amazing that is downton abbey?  i could embroider dozens of hoops in the time spent waiting until season 3 comes out since we finished season 2 weeks ago, but that's my lesson learned for needing to watch four episodes back to back at a time.
